NileStack designs and delivers infrastructure-sovereign critical communications systems for the Middle East and Africa. The unit of work is the whole system: requirements, architecture, integration, customisation, acceptance, and handover into operations. We do not own one component and assemble the rest around it. What we own is the capability to design and customise a complete system for a specific operator, in a specific country, under a specific set of constraints — and to make it work end to end.

Private networks, mission-critical platforms and quantum-resilient security are specified and built as one system, under full regional operational control. A reseller ships another company's boxes and leaves the integration to the buyer; a global vendor sells its own catalogue and keeps the roadmap, and often the control, outside the operator's jurisdiction. We start from the operator's constraints and design the system that meets them.

How we work

Integration and customisation are the IP

Anyone can procure a radio, a core network, a dispatch platform, a key management system. The scarce work is deciding how they fit together, then customising them until they meet one operator's rules, terrain, and continuity requirements. That engineering is what NileStack owns.

One party answerable for the whole system

From radio planning through mission-critical services and post-quantum key management, one engineering authority carries the design into commissioning, so that no interface is left as somebody else's problem.

Canadian governance, regional delivery

The company and its IP are governed from Canada, to international standards. Design authority, integration work, and long-term support are placed in the Middle East and Africa, in the same jurisdictions as the systems they serve.

Founder

Ray Iskander

NileStack was founded by Ray Iskander. He spent more than a decade in telecom infrastructure at Ericsson (1999–2010), and has since built technology ventures focused on innovation, open architectures, and post-quantum cryptography. The company's preference for open architectures and long-lifecycle cryptography follows from that work.

He also founded Verdict Security, an independent formal verification firm that publishes machine-checked research on post-quantum cryptographic hardware. That research informs NileStack's approach to quantum-resilient security. The two companies are separate, and Verdict Security does not verify, audit, or certify systems that NileStack delivers.
